North/Northeast

Day 23 — Saturday — April 18, 2026

Wake-up feel: 5. Tired. The city outside the window — the same city that received me as a foreigner thirty-one years ago.

Fruit. The biodynamic calendar marks it. I take note and board the 8:06 to Stralsund.

The morning before I left Gut Nisdorf for the south, I was walking the familiar path — north/northeast, the winding pathway between the Bodden and the fields of rapeseed to greet the rising sun. A crow flew past me in the opposite direction along the shores of the Bodden over the reed fields. It did not perch. It moved in flight, calling once every so often.

The crow flew south/southeast that morning. I noted it and did not think more of it.

Two days later I was in Frankfurt (Oder) — the place where it all started. I had followed the crow's direction without intending to.

New Moon in Aries at 14h on the day I travelled south. A threshold, not a question. The force that moves before you name it.

I woke tired in Frankfurt this morning. My sister called in the night — an open ear, support where she can give it. The city was quiet outside the window. Thirty-one years in that city.

At 8:06 I took the train north/northeast.

Not because the crow flew that way. Out of my own choosing.

That is what was learned.
